Monográfico: Benito Pérez Galdós en la escena

Resumen: En este estudio se proponen algunas líneas de investigación del teatro galdosiano desde la sociabilidad, a la vez que se repasan estudios y ediciones existentes útiles para este fin. Se toman como referencia sobre todo los estudios de sociabilidad de Maurice Agulhon. Se privilegia la visión panorámica y de conjunto para resaltar el significado último de la larga lucha mantenida por Pérez Galdós para la renovación del teatro español.

PÉREZ GALDÓS´ THEATRE AND SOCIABILITY

Abstract: This study proposes some lines of research of Galdosian theatre from the point of view of sociability, while reviewing existing studies and editions that may be useful to this end. The studies of sociability by Maurice Agulhon are taken as a reference above all. The panoramic and overall vision is privileged in order to highlight the ultimate meaning of the long struggle maintained by Pérez Galdós for the renewal of Spanish theater.
