Resumen: Cuando Fernando Fernán-Gómez decidió escribir su autobiografía, se embarcó en un proyecto que encajaba con naturalidad en el resto de su producción literaria, no solo debido a su carácter memorialista, sino también por su concepción de la escritura y la literatura. Página Por un lado, El tiempo amarillo es una muestra más de su gran habilidad como articulista, ilustrando su capacidad para la observación y la reflexión lúcida, aguda y sorprendente. Por otro, en él convierte el relato de su vida en testimonio de toda una época, siendo igualmente el retrato de aquellos que compartieron sus sueños, tiempos y circunstancias.

Abstract: When Fernando Fernán-Gómez decided to write his autobiography, he undertook a project that fitted naturally with the rest of his literary production, not only because of its memoir character, but also because of his conception of writing and literature. El tiempo amarillo testifies to his enormous gift in the article form, where he brilliantly illustrates his capacity for observation and lucid, sharp and surprising reflection. In it, he turns the journey through his life into a testimonial of an entire era; it is equally the portrait of all those who shared his dreams, times and circumstances.
