MUJER Y CREACIÓN ESCÉNICA HOY EN ESPAÑA. ESTADO DE LA CUESTIÓN

Resumen: Este es un artículo introductorio que pretende dibujar una panorámica sobre el papel de la mujer en el ámbito de la creación escénica y de la gestión durante el siglo XXI en España. Sus antecedentes cercanos (teatro independiente, años noventa…), así como las diferentes organizaciones femeninas y feministas surgidas como respuesta ante la desigualdad entre hombres y mujeres en el sector. También se mencionan los estudios académicos al respecto, así como diferentes iniciativas reivindicativas sobre este ámbito de plena actualidad surgidas en las últimas temporadas.

WOMEN AND PERFORMING ARTS TODAY IN SPAIN. STATUS OF THE ISSUE

Abstract: This is an introductory article that aims to draw a panoramic view of the role of women in the field of stage creation and management during the 21st century in Spain. The close background of them (independent theater, the nineties ...) as well as the different femenine and feminist organizations that emerged as a response to the inequality between men and women in this professional sector. Academic studies are also mentioned in this regard as well as different initiatives in this area of current relevance arising in recent seasons.
