Resumen: Con motivo del centenario de la Revolución de 1917, el artículo repasa algunos ejemplos de la presencia de la misma en el teatro español anterior a 1939. Valle-Inclán, Jacinto Benavente y los grupos formados bajo el amparo de diversos partidos políticos aportan un conjunto heterogéneo y desigual, pero que prueba el interés del público español por la revolución soviética.

THE RUSSIAN REVOLUTION IN THE SPANISH STAGE (1917-1936)
Abstract: Due to the centenarian October’s 1917 Revolution, there will be reviewed some examples about its presence during the theater developed in Spain before 1939. Dramatists such as Valle-Inclán, Jacinto Benavente and groups formed under the influence of political parties provide a mixed and varied production that proves the interest generated by the Soviet Revolution in Spanish society.
